Big downside is that hangouts ititiated from the app don't show up in the web version. I don't get why google can't make hangouts better. It is such an awesome feature...

I don't think this will solve basic problem. undoubtedly Hangouts and Google docs is great integration but since there are many issues when it comes to Google docs just like Google Spreadsheets is online, why doesn’t it go beyond versioning and creating multiple copies of the same data? What if I want to share different filters of the same spreadsheet for others to update and make my life easier?
I would be interested in some alternatives to Google docs and have come across this tool called CollateBox http://www.collatebox.com/ looks promising to me.

Unless they've turned them off, they'll get a notification for a message like this (either via email, the "notification" icon, or both), so it's likely to stand out pretty well.

Yes, I'd like to see WAY better integration between Blogger and G+, at least. I routinely post to one of my blogs and then share it fb with a click, but have to copy the URL and paste it into a G+ post's URL window to duplicate the effect I get in fb. This is pitiful! I'm not likely to move my blogging to G+ without better handling of rich text and photos... And where's my Chrome taskbar share button for G+, arready? How hard can that be?

The reason for removing this feature of not wanting to confuse new users is weak. There is no simple way to duplicate this function in search that I've yet found. So unless there are are other technical reasons Google hasn't shared with us about the whys of this decision I think they will regret it.

So what do you do if you were (and still are) unable to create a G+ account because you were under 18 years of age? That's my little dilemma right there. I'm not yet 18, so I had no way of making a G+ account (because I was stupid enough to fill in my actual birth date when making my email account). Now, I have no way of accessing my many, many, many previous posts that have cumulated over the past years, despite my having exported/archived them to Google Takeout (which, as far as I am concerned, is utterly pointless..not quite sure as to what it is exactly) , and my profile thing only shows about 10....the last 10 that I posted. Does ayone know how I can access my other posts? Buzz was like a little blog to me, and I do have quite a bit of memories packed in there. Any help/insight would be greatly appreciated.

Can anyone please tell me how to stop this feature from functioning? I understand its a nice feature, but in my case its useful just some times because I am NOT taking photos to be uploaded and shared on google+, they have a different purpose. Please tell me how to stop this auto-upload.

Blogging without the option for rich text format?! What the...?!
I love G+ on everything but not the post formatting things. So annoy!
Can't believe they could do that. The posts look totally poor.

I agree its simple but silly way of formatting - how does one put an asterisk in in a post if there is more than one on a line? how about dashes? It just makes things bold or strike through. See the problem?
I did notice if an asterisk is in the middle of a word then it does not make it bold :D

The format used in Google+ is actually quite intuitive to anyone who's used a Wiki.

I'm sure more formatting options will follow. Btw, there are associated dangers (such as XSS) with allowing HTML tags.

I'm still not convinced by Google + noone seems to be using it at the moment in the uk, i can't see people moving away from facebook yet, all of there family photo's, memories and everyone they want to share it with is already cemented in place on facebook and so easy to use.

You have an account? Yes? Then you have clicked on agree to terms! Which allows all your uploaded content to be used by the Host and any 3'd party, So…that DOES mean that they could take a photo your children (for instance) and use it in advertisement for their products (and whomever else they want to allow) Scary isn't it.

Yes, and its annoying.. I just posted from tweetdeck and wondered why it wasn't showing. There is a Google Buzz tab in the Google Plus account info though..
